Digital machinery documentation — produced, versioned and delivered

Technical files, instructions and safety information are structured by machine family, locked into an approved version and distributed digitally — via a QR code on the machine or a login to the hub. Every recipient gets the right version in the right language.

NXT Docs is a new area in NXT. It is purchased per machine family per year, just like other knowledge areas, and shares terminology and source material with the rest of the platform.

The EU's new Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 applies from 20 January 2027 and permits digital documentation for the first time, with requirements for accessibility and long-term availability. Decisions about the documentation workflow need to be made now — technical files and translations take 6–12 months per model family.

Documentation stops being a cost at the end of a project and becomes an aftermarket service: updated instructions, training and certification for your dealer network, all from the same source.

Docs does not stand alone. NXT Compliance approves and versions the documents and keeps track of who received which version.
